A grant to launch “A Scalable In-Home Care System as an Alternative to Inpatient Hospital Care”, a multi-stakeholder effort to provide rapidly accessible and appropriate care at home to patients with COVID disease, with components that include specially trained paramedics, telehealth, and remote monitoring. Safe@Home is partnering with the Lowell General Physician Hospital Organization to roll out a model of care for presumptive or confirmed COVID-19 infection that is an in-home alternative to emergency department and inpatient care.
